Lumber can be purchased in the following ways:
Rough
Lumber is rough sawn to thickness and dried to specific moisture content
D2S, R1E
Lumber is dressed to thickness on 2-sides and ripped 1-edge for straightness
D2S, R2E
Lumber is dressed to thickness on 2-sides and ripped 2-edges for width size
D4S
Lumber is milled on all 4-sides,thru a molder,to specified dimensions
